Continuing Education (CE) Policy Information
Eligibility for Nurses Contact Hours (CNEs) and Accountants Continuing Professional Credits (CPEs)
Please note in order to receive CNEs or CPEs, you are required to:

Continuing Education for Nurses
The National Association for Home Care & Hospice is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Each summit is presented in group- live format and provides CNEs for nurses based on 60 minutes. Nurses will earn a total of 5.25 contact hours.
Continuing Education for Accountants
The National Association for Home Care & Hospice is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE sponsors (Sponsor ID #104616). In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits are based on a 50-minute hour. Accountants will earn a total of 6.3 CPE credits. State boards of accountancy have final authority on acceptance of individual courses for CPE credits.
Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.NASBARegistry.org. Prerequisite or advance preparation is not required for credits. Course levels are Intermediate.
Field of Study for Accountants
Fields of Study codes (FOS) appear following the CPE information for all accounting-accredited Programs. The FOS codes are:
- BMO Business Management and Organization
- RE Regulatory Ethics
- FIN Finance
- MA S Management Advisory Services
- PHR Personnel and Human Resources
Note: To be eligible for CPEs, you must attend the full summit in order to have that summit on your documentation. If
you exit the summit prior to its conclusion, you will not be eligible for CPE credits. CPEs also will be available online
shortly after the conclusion of the conference.
Continuing Education for Administrators
This program has been approved for continuing education for 5.25 total participant hours by the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards/National Continuing Education Review Service (NAB/NCERS).
